Retrieving Your Data

The example I am going to show you is from using Listbot to manage my "opt-in" list. Different services and programs will have different ways for you to retrieve data. To get the data in PLAIN TEXT format from Listbot I had to choose "View all demographics" from the control panel. This information displayed in my browser. From the "File menu" I chose to save this as plain text.

I know in the picture that the names are too blurry to read. I blurred them intentionally to protect the privacy of my subscribers. This is simply to show you the layout achieved with the method I will describe to you. You can see that everything is formatted well. Information is contained within columns, and this is how we want it. Fields are separated. This is good!
