These type of tools are handy for sending you, or site visitors, news/content that is tailored to your preferences. If you use it for personal use, then you can share the links and articles through your social networks. This saves you a lot of time from having to track down content yourself. I use 'Paper.li' but there are a lot of others as well. I ran across a list of them today. I haven't tried any of them yet, but may try them later on.
